Today I had the pleasure of attending the City of London Corporation’s ‘Celebrating our People Awards’ at the Guildhall.
This annual event is designed to celebrate the contributions of nominated employees across a range of categories. It’s there to especially recognise the achievements of those who have gone the extra mile for the benefit of others and to promote collaboration across the wide range of services and activities provided by the City Corporation.
This year I was delighted to see so many individuals nominated by their peers from across Epping Forest and the Commons, which demonstrates both the progress we are making towards recognising and rewarding our teams and the growth in these amazing culture carriers for our organisation, leading and inspiring others in the work they are doing.
We must never forget that the City of London’s greatest asset is its people and I would like to publicly recognise and congratulate each of these individuals and all of those across the Corporation which were nominated.
