Wonderful to see children enjoying the Besom Broom making workshops at Coulsdon Common in the London Borough of Croydon this half term.
The natural materials were gathered from the Common, as an introduction to the natural environment.
Coulsdon is owned and conserved as a charity by the City of London Corporation. It’s home to ancient woodland and rare chalk grassland; great for spring flowers and autumn walks. With many paths and bridleways through majestic wood pasture.
