Cybersecurity is usually a term that either gets confused looks, or gets the pulse racing amongst business owners!
It was a pleasure to support Cyber Griffin at the event this week, kindly hosted by Vorboss, in the economic engine of the Square Mile, Bishopsgate! (thanks for the amazing coffee, Old Spike Roastery!)
The work of better informing the Square Mile’s business communities about preparedness and resilience is led by City of London Police. Teaching through vivid examples and demonstrating how businesses can ensure they are on the front foot. Even capitalising on the opportunities that cybersecurity has to offer.

Access to direct expertise in this way, is part and parcel of the City Corporation’s “Access To” offering under our SME Strategy, which I am proud to be leading on.
I will be speaking about ‘Cybersecurity for the built environment’ at London Real Estate Forum on 17th September. As the built environment becomes more connected and data-driven, cybersecurity is no longer optional – it’s essential to resilience. This panel will explore how the real estate sector can integrate cybersecurity into design and deliver smarter, more secure infrastructure.
